Feng Shui RemediesIf Your Work Space Is In An Inappropriate Or Out-Of-The-Way Location When I was making a living as an artist, I delivered a sculpture to a client. This couple proudly gave me a tour of their home. Opening the door to what I was told was his office revealed a bathroom! I knew it was no joke after seeing a desk squeezed into a corner. Questioning him revealed that his selection was based on the guaranteed privacy this room afforded. Legitimate reason but horrible feng shui. We become what is anticipated. Don't squeeze a desk into a corner of a room or stash it in a windowless basement. The quality of work will mirror the status of the work space. This doesn't mean that a work space in a garage might not be just what you need. Middle-of-the-night flashes of inspiration might be best executed in a space away from the main household. A work space is appropriate when it cradles you and at the same time gives you emotional, mental, and physical support. Whatever form it takes, having a quality place in which to concentrate on doing a job well is an element that holds together a fulfilling life.
